The goal for this project was to create a booklet that takes potential students and parents on a tour of the Virginia Tech campus in a unique way, then create a system of signs to match this. Each tour spot has a poem associated with it and a quick description. I played with 2 concepts as you will see in the photos: 1) The regular book style, and 2) a book style with a see through paper that gives a slight preview of the poem present on the partially hidden page.

The above photo illustrates the see through paper with the intro portion of a poem.

The below photos illustrate the front and back covers.

The next step of this project was to create signs for the landmarks that belong in the same design/brand system as the tour booklet. The sign design can vary based on budget and location. It can be as large as a 5 foot tall concrete sign to a simple spray painted or vinyl sticker on the ground. If the sign is seen from both sides, the back would show a map to take the potential student to the next stop.

* For the booklet design, some photos, poems, and descriptions were taken/written by my classmates or found on the internet.
